Our Tahoe Cabin is vintage Tahoe with skiers comfort in mind. Heavenly Ski Resort opens Nov 27th!!! Come relax and play and learn to live on “Tahoe Time”! Kid friendly sledding area close by. Walk/bike from the cabin to lake & 3 beaches & eateries. Sunny, very clean and newly re-decorated with a modern rustic feel. This is a classic Tahoe family ski and summer cabin.
Come home to your very own Tahoe mountain cabin getaway that invites your guests to relax by the fire after a fun day of skiing/sledding, watch movies, play board games (provided by us!) and prepare a big meal in the completely stocked kitchen. You are going to be hungry after a big day on the mountain! We even have great big cups for your favorite hot cocoa or hot toddy to warm everyone up.
Lake Tahoe really is the place where you can water ski and snow ski in the same day. During the Spring months you will be able to ski in the morning and then come back for an après BBQ – you’ll want to stick to morning runs—when the slopes are groomed and before the corduroy “corns up,” or turns into kernel-size nuggets
Complimentary parking spot for 1 vehicle. Additional cars must park at the nearby free city lot adjacent to the home. The ultimate location for Lake Tahoe activities and Lake access, this home is just 4 streets away from the Lake and just a few minutes drive to Heavenly ski slopes. Start your day by taking the ski shuttle (just one street away to the stop) to the California Base Tram or Heavenly Village gondola. If the kids need to go to ski school you will be 2.3 miles to the Cal-base ski school and about 2.5 miles the Ski school at Heavenly Village Gondola.
The Tahoe Vacation home has completely stocked kitchen with small island for two and a foldable dining table and chairs that seats four. The living room has wood burning fireplace, and large TV with DVD player and Netflix.

Wet boots and gloves from a long day on the slopes? No problem, we have a handy boot and glove dryer for you to use!
It’s a 5 minute drive (2.4 miles) to Heavenly. Secluded enough from the busy street, but close enough to reach everything with a short walk. Even shorter drive if it’s too snowy to walk for your taste 🙂

Our neighborhood is the most “walkable” neighborhood at the Lake if you like winter or summer activities!
Ice rink and swim center is within short walking distance and Heavenly Ski Resort is less than 3 miles away.

This is a great neighborhood to call home base while you experience South Lake like a local. Live like a true Tahoe local (you may even start adapting to ‘Tahoe Time’) with all the comforts, luxuries and amenities you need to still feel like you are on a vacation.
Just down the street at the Lakeview Commons you can enjoy the Wednesday night Paddle board races and Thursday nights “Live at Lakeview” music series with lots of good food and vendors.

Bike Rentals are super easy and affordable! There is a LimeBike hub just across the street! Simply download the LimeBike app on your Android or iPhone, find a bike on the map, and unlock the bike with the tap of the app.
There is plenty of space for your skis, snowboards, paddleboards, backpacks and gear.
In order to comply with the City of South Lake Tahoe’s Vacation Rental Ordinance for occupancy and parking the exterior of this home is monitored by a video camera. The Property has one security cameras facing the front yard/driveway area. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons only, In the cases of a break-in, death, injury, guests sneaking in pets, guests disregarding the maximum occupancy allowed and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property.
Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in the guest being evicted without refund. The full deposit will be forfeited if any of the above are found. You will also be asked to leave the property immediately without any money returned.
