This beautiful vacation home in South Lake Tahoe is a guest house that offers exceptional privacy and is made for a small family or a few friends looking for luxury and space. Spread out in 900 sq.ft. with 2 bedrooms and plenty of room for all. This inviting two bedroom is part of the new Bellevue Development and welcomes you to your Lake Tahoe destination getaway. Living area includes vaulted ceilings, a large flat screen TV and a fireplace for guest entertainment or a night of staying in and relaxing after a day of hitting the slopes or hiking the wondrous mountain trails that Tahoe has to offer. Sleeping accommodations for five, including a Cal-King bed and flat screen, and one Queen over Queen bunk in the guest room with a flat-screen as well. With a fully equipped kitchen, complete with rolling island, stainless steel appliances, custom quartz counters, and beautiful tiled backsplash, this unit also boasts a balcony with grill, great for barbecuing for family and friends. A washer and dryer are located within the unit for your convenience. 



The Best Lake Tahoe Vacation Home for Rent

The space

Best vacation rental location in South Tahoe! Walk directly to the Lake from home (just 150 steps!), and 2.4 miles to the Heavenly ski lifts! You will be 2.5 miles to the casinos for nightlife and drinks.

This Tahoe vacation rental was built with modern finishes and furnishings. The reclaimed barn wood and beam accents give the home a modern rustic feel, and the natural light from all of the windows really brighten the space.

The bedrooms are not just for sleeping! (Though our 400 thread count sheets and super plush pillows don’t hurt..) It’s also the perfect place to curl up for a movie. We have Cable in Master and Netflix streaming service for you in both rooms, so now you just have to choose between West World and Frozen. Good luck. 😉 There is a CalKing in the master and a Queen bunk bed (weight limits only allow for 100 lbs on top bunk).

There is a washer and dryer in the home, just for you! Throw your ski socks in the dryer 5 minutes before you put your boots on and you can thank me later 🙂

The bathroom has been designed with all of our cousins, nieces, and nephews in mind! It is not a conventional layout but was designed to get an entire family on the slopes for first chair! 2 people can shower (if they don’t mind the buddy system), 2 people can brush their teeth/shave/dry hair, and one person can be using the water closet (that is a room with a toilet) all at the same time. We have solved the problem of one person tying up an entire bathroom making everyone anxious to get on the hill!

Parking – There is one uncovered parking space just outside the home.

There are bike rental and Paddle Board rental shops just a blocks away. We will get back you QUICK for booking requests, we will not make you wait 12 hours to hear from us 🙂

Guest access

Instant access to the lake, beach and the Tahoe conservancy trail and lands. The private wildlife reserve behind the home is off-limits but is spectacular to watch from the deck.

You have a completely separate and private entrance and will have a completely private stay and use of the entire 2 story guest house. Code for door will be in the initial email Airbnb sends you when you book along with easy driving directions.

Interaction with guests

Only as much as needed by guests. I do enjoy sharing knowledge, insights and favorite spots with visitors. Feel free to text me with your questions about the area and attractions. I want you to feel like you already have a friend in Tahoe!

Other things to note

The only parking that is allowed by the city is the one space we provide. No parking is allowed on the street since it is designated as a “fire lane” because of how narrow it is. Host lives in main home adjacent to guest house but will not disrupt your stay or interact with you or your guests unless there is an emergency or you have a question or concern. The Garage is used for owners’ cars only. In the winter you are just a few minutes drive to the lifts and in the summer you can walk to the beach and paddle board drop-in location.

Vacation Home Rules

** New VHR Ordinance – The City of South Lake now fines any guest and VHR owner $1000 each for exceeding allowable home occupancy, parking off driveways or in the street, excessive noise, or garbage left outside of bear-boxes. If excessive noise or disturbances occurs resulting in notification by police or neighbors, all Guests will be asked to vacate the Property and will forfeit the reservation and all rental fees paid. **No smoking

  • Not suitable for pets

  • No parties or events

  • Check-in is anytime after 3PM

  • Check out by 11AM

  • Self check-in with keypad

  • Owners’ home is on the property – This home is not appropriate for parties, events, or loud groups it is more ideal for families, a mature group of friends, or professional groups.

  • The person who books the home must be present during the entire guest stay. We do not allow parents or other family members, friends, etc… to book your reservation for you.

  • Checkin is no earlier than 3pm and Checkout is no later than 11am. Our housekeepers and inspectors need every minute of the 11AM to 3PM window to ensure the cleanliness of your vacation home. We make every effort to ensure the home is clean and ready for occupancy by 3PM. Please do not buy groceries before check-in. We cannot let you into homes that are not ready, nor can we provide refrigeration facilities. In unusual circumstances, for whatever reason, it may be necessary to delay occupancy beyond 3 PM, until your home is ready, arriving early may delay the property being cleaned or could result in it not being cleaned at all.

  • The adjacent forest (backs up to the backyard) is owned by a private party and guests are not allowed access to that area. Access to beach and conservancy trails is via Lily Avenue (turn left if facing the street from home) about 175 steps away!

  • Quiet hours are from 9pm – 9am This is strictly enforced by our City Vacation Rental Code Enforcement and the owners who live in the main house.

  • We provide parking for *1 car*. All other cars can use the free city/public parking lots (at entrance to neighborhood) first one is on corner of San Jose and Riverside Avenue) entrance to Parking Lot is on Riverside Ave. The Second one is on the corner of Modesto and Riverside, entrance is on Modesto Ave.

  • Please, DO NOT FEED or attempt to touch or selfie with the wildlife in the neighborhood/Tahoe. South Lake Tahoe is a city in the Mountains, We have wildlife here 🙂 There are black bears, raccoons and coyotes in the neighborhood. Please use the provided flashlight when taking night-time walks. They will not hurt or attack you but they can be startling.

  • Makes sure to not leave snacks and food outside at night or in your car, it can attract the bears and they have been known to scratch car paint trying to get to the food.

  • SMOKING/FIRES: The Property is a NON-SMOKING UNIT. No smoking is permitted on, at, or in any part of the Property. If evidence of smoking is discovered, the guest will be responsible for all expenses associated with restoring the property to original condition. Portable fire-pits or building outdoor fires in or outside of a ring is strictly prohibited and may be in violation of local fire ordinances.

  • Should any damages or alterations be noted upon inspection after the Guests’ departure, Guest Designee agrees to pay for all cost of repairs, or the cost of replacement if NOT covered by Airbnb’s traveler’s protection.

  • We DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS or rescheduling nights, on trips canceled less than 7 days, due to bad weather, regardless of a snow storm or rain.

  • We also cannot offer refunds due to schedule inconveniences. We strongly suggest using a travel insurance company for a few extra dollars to ensure peace of mind. Please note that there are many travel insurance providers available, some with more comprehensive plans. To research the various plans offered, we recommend visiting “Insure My Trip”.

Must climb stairs – There is a covered staircase leading to the guesthouse front door

Amenity limitations – Access to private wildlife reserve/backyard behind home is not allowed

Surveillance or recording devices on property – There are security cameras on the exterior of the property. Pointing towards driveway and side yard, no expectation of privacy is hindered in any way
